Vision
Our vision is to be an up-to date world class Polytechnic Institution to impart value and quality based professional education to the aspiring youth and mould them into well qualified technicians by training them as well disciplined and highly professional technicians.
Objectives of the Institution:
The main objective of the proposed institution is to impart excellent technical education to the students. It also aims at cent percent result with at least 75% distinction and full placement to the successful candidates. The institution also aims at the spiritual, intellectual, moral and mental growth of each and every student.
Unemployment is the main problem confronting the youth of India as well as Kerala. This is the main reason for the backwardness of the Indian society, especially the backward villages of the district.
The proposed institution is located in the industrial belt of the district of Ernakulam. The new institute, once it is fully established, can supply a good number of technicians and engineers required for the infrastructural development of the area and also to meet the requirement of industrial personnel. The infrastructure of the state determines its prosperity. A sound infrastructure depends on the smooth functioning of the health sector, education, transport, power supply, banking facilities, and telecom sector. The introduction of a new Polytechnic in the area will boost the production in the industrial sector and the region will develop into an economically and industrially advanced district in Kerala and in India. Moreover, the institution aims at providing more assistance to the society especially, the poor and economically backward classes, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. Thereby we hope to improve the living standard of the people in general.
With this aim in mind:
1. We impart industrial training to the youth, especially to the less fortunate and equip them with the best industrial and technical knowledge and multi-skill practical training which would help them take part in the progressive Global Industrial development.
2. We prepare the trainees for suitable employment in different Engineering Trades for industry and self-employment.
3. We enable the trainees to have better standard of living by acquiring sound principles of morality, discipline and life skills so as to face the realities of life.
The institution gives great importance to character formation and the skill development of its students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, which are run under the selfless commitment and strict discipline of Catholic Priests and nuns.
